Really like the pose on this.
Would definitely go for the more realistic, thinner barrel/muzzle guard.
Keep it up, it's always fascinated me how models are created.

It's looking great, and it's awesome being able to follow the modelling process.
I'm also really intrigued and would like to know more about the technology he/his suit will possess.

Overall the figure is looking interesting. Still difficult to visualise quite how the finished model will look with all the tech parts added.
As I thought the gun is enormous. I hope this is not going to be the standard gun size to figure ratio accross the range. I guess this is a future where technological miniaturisation never happened. Will the comms devices be like the 80s 'brick mobiles'.

Re: Hansa Part 2 by Kevin White
loving this...
I am really torn between the current barrel and a possible small one. Now that the weapon and the model are together (Aww) I kinda like the larger nozzle (Im thinking huge heat supressor, melta gun type?) Im thinking that the weapon ammo type needed the muzzle.
Im sure either way I will like it.

Looking awesome! I kinda like the muzzle as is but agree that a more traditional style would be better.
Its really interesting to watch the model grow like this!
The gun is fairly large, but remove the over-sized muzzle & its only slightly longer than a modern day assault rifle, I guess to me it seems average as I play a lot of 40K & whilst I do own 28mm WW2 figures the guns always seem quite insubstantial after being used to the over sized style of GW models. Also maybe because the upper body isn't fully fleshed out it makes the gun seem larger & once the arms & chest are bulkier it will seem not so large?

Looking very good indeed ... once the rest of the torso detail, sleeves, hands and head are done the gun wont look so big
The future begins .. in a moment. http://www.ringo-simpkins.co.uk
